KNOW BEFORE YOU GO. Know your location. Know the ice conditions. Know the weather conditions. Know the fishing laws which can be found online. 

BE PREPARED. Before hitting the frozen tundra consider packing a few essentials to safe & warm. Did you remember your hot hands? 

LEAVE NO TRACE. Remember to carry out whatever you carry in. 

RESPECT. Respect public and private properties. Utilize public parking areas; do not block paths, entrances or other vehicles from being able to come and go. Utilize public access points or get permission from the landowner before parking on site. 

 

Now get outside and try something different and as always, enjoy Maine, and all its beauty, safe & responsibly!
